Project description:

Catering and tourist industry are one of the most important economic sectors in Europe providing millions of jobs. This sector is based to a great extent on the flexibility and mobility of the labour force which is very often limited by the insufficient transparency of qualifications and by the fact that these qualifications are not mutually recognized by the countries across Europe.

In order to address this issue this project will use ECVET to create a working scheme for mutual recognition and transparency of competencies together with the learning results in the catering and tourist industry. Main aim of the project is to create and test the ECVET model for the catering and tourism industry in Europe. Among other tasks will be the creation of a guide for using ECVET in practice, instructions for the development of ECVET compatible learning programmes and share experience regarding the usage of the working scheme.

Project description:

In the project partners´ countries are situated a lot of young unemployed people who balance on the edge of social exclusion and poverty. A lot of these young people come from groups like a long term disadvantaged in the labour market, i.e. people from families suffering from intergenerational unemployment, people whose parents have basic or lower level of education, people dependent on welfare benefits or migrants and ethnic minorities. These factors can significantly influence the ability of young people to integrate in the community, to learn and work which leads to even deeper social and economic problems.

Main aim of the project is to break through the vicious circle of lack of motivation, social exclusion and poverty thanks to education in the field of social, methodical and personal competences of young people coming from troubled surrounding and restoration of their self-confidence in own skills.

Project description:

SHNW is an international project submitted by the partners from Spain, Germany, Czech Republic, Greece and Romania who propose to transfer an innovative solution of work injuries of new employees in small companies and companies in industrial sector.

This problem regards especially young apprentices and workers who take up the first job and do not have any or very limited experience about the danger resulting from the handling of machinery.

The aim is to identify more effective professional sources concerning the precaution of work injuries. These will be then adjusted to the content of interactive games utilizing the audio visual media based on the existing materials and sources.

Project description:
The project concentrated on the current living situation of immigrants in the Czech Republic and other partner countries. Main fields that the project focused on, were criminality, people affected by criminality and difficult situation of immigrants in the Czech Republic.
The aim of this project was to deliver a more comprehensive view of the immigrants´ situation in the Czech Republic. This was implemented thanks to a questionnaire survey in the form of interview with the participants of the target group, out of which was created a comprehensive record in the form of a “report”. A series of training courses for immigrants was developed based on the results of the questionnaire survey.

Avalnet provided useful information about the direct transfer into practice of nowadays “best practices” and business results, sharing new theories and their application, describing new trends and implication of relevant topics. The main purpose of this network was to establish the concepts of delivery and transfer of innovative product in the assessment and evaluation of investments with the aim to raise the quality of vocational, educational and training systems and practical experience across Europe.

Project description:
The project was designed to help traditional language teachers, who teach full-time courses to adapt themselves to a new way of teaching and learning by using electronic courses. Participants learned how to create and modify content and structure of the course so they will not need an IT assistant. The system is not only helpful for the preparation of electronic course but can also be used as a tool for creating full-time and combined courses.
After study and separation of outputs a portal was developed as the main tool for trainers. Foreign language teachers can find here innovative tools and resources which can serve for creating an online classroom and also for their own education. The portal is free of charge and is operated in nine European languages - Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, French, Greek, Hungarian, Polish, Romanian and Spanish.

Project description:
The project refers to the safety aspects within this specific sector and the lack of trained technical workers in the sector. This target sector includes all companies engaged in the construction, installation, maintenance and repairing of elevators.
The general objective of the project has three parts. On the one hand, we aimed to create a European curricula for basic training of elevator engineers, along with links to the current e-learning training (manuals, courses). On the other hand, we wanted to create European curricula for further education of elevator technicians, ie, assembly techniques and repairs. Project description:
The objective of this project is to strengthen the cooperation between Spain and the countries of Central Europe (Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic). Business cooperation will be strengthened in particular through the creation of on-line Spanish course, which will be developed specially for the group of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and will be tailored to their needs.

Project description:
Project develops teaching and communication tools for teachers and instructors to support the successful implementation of e-learning into their daily work. It includes six participants from different countries, i.e. from Portugal, Poland, Italy, Greece, Czech Republic and Spain.
The project results provide professional support for instructors and teachers focusing on successful implementation of e-learning in their organizations. Training and communication tools, aimed at people with pedagogical skills were developed within the project.
Among the project objectives belong the identification of details and differences between participating countries, implementation of an international virtual network providing the exchange of experience, research of existing studies and e-learning courses and analysis of current level of e-learning exploitation in the participating countries.

This project updates, develop and extends materials dealing with Euphony teaching methods for developing intuitive skills through experience with sound and music. The aim is to train professionals who do not want to be musicians, but want to learn how to lead (train) students how to use Euphony methods and its products in the field of adult education. The project intends to extend this method throughout Europe and contribute to personal and professional growth of those who want to be Euphony teachers and who want to use these modern tools.

Project description:
The project is the result of a very successful project Leonardo Peer Support, which supports social and economic inclusion of disadvantaged young people who have problems with the assertion in the labour market and in life generally. Project works with the target group which is disadvantaged both physically and mentally. Program is applied to the workplace as well as to the training centers.
The project is focused on a very specific group represented by the young prisoners and offenders and the aim is their education, mentoring and preparation for integration in normal life after their discharge. It is necessary to ensure training for prison staff so they are prepared for the cooperation with the target group. Staff in prisons and detention facilities is often poorly qualified to work with the given group and there is a lack of specialists such as psychologists, social workers, trainers, etc.

Project description:
The project aims at preparing autobiographical activities for prisoners which would encourage them to review their past and plan the future on the loose. During imprisonment writing can represent a way to self-understanding, reflection on own past and ideas about life. Project seeks to collect the prisoners´ experience, who are thanks to narrative about their life, work, pain and the circumstances of the arrest, trying to find new perspectives and opportunities for their own future. Results of each autobiographical workshop (synthesis of all generated materials, both written and recorded by the media) will be expanded to all prisons involved in the project and will be published on the web.
The aim is to create a space for reflection on specific themes so the prisoners can define their life after release from prison. The project will compare its results with similar experiences in other European countries, and will seek for the selected methodology (autobiography) to become a common didactic practice in the educational process of the detained and imprisoned people.

Project description:
Kemp is a two-year project whose main aim is to increase the awareness of the importance of e-skills among European senior workers (+ 45 years) working in SMEs in service businesses. By developing a training course focused on ICT and the Internet, KEMP aims to promote the importance of lifelong learning for senior workers so they are able to face daily use of ICT-based tools and services at work or in private life.
Project´s aim is to raise awareness of active senior employees of SMEs operating in the service businesses in Europe about how the ICT and Internet can facilitate their everyday life especially the working life. Educational courses will be developed with the content oriented on the ICT skills. Another task of the project is dissemination of project results to relevant organizations active in the field of adult education.

Project description
The project helps to create a two-level language course, which deals with needs for employees education with a special focus on intercultural education, which is intended for people working in the library and media sector. Project description:
ME-TECH project focuses on improving the training of traditional handicrafts, especially hand textile manufacturing. It seeks to develop and introduce innovative methods into the curricula of this craft, especially in the training curriculum for further education of women. The target group is represented by socio-economically disadvantaged women, unemployed women who occupy a problematic position in the labour market. Project will try to facilitate the entry to the labour market for these women by developing quality teaching materials.
The aim is to prepare a methodology for the teaching of textile manufacturing / design and other arts and crafts, develop training modules and adapt them to the needs of target groups in individual countries, develop and create training materials - CD and manual and disseminate results and outputs of the project by organizing conferences and other dissemination activities - creation of brochures, posters, participation in radio and television programs, articles in newspapers and magazines.

The purpose of the project is to remind people in the urban areas the importance of keeping the natural and rural environment in the cities through understanding and obtaining additional knowledge about these areas. Their perception will be changed by comparing eco systems of these areas, various studies and revealing differencies (geographic, climatic, economical, social, etc.). Results will be achieved by providing three seminars.
The project objectives include the approach of urban areas participants closer to rural area, they demonstrate and analyze the differences between the environment and health, compare ecosystems in researched project areas, emphasize a need for healthy environment in the city centers, etc.

Nettle is a project funded by the Socrates- Erasmus programme. It focuses on the tertiary education, examining the initial and continuous professional development of training for the professors or college teachers. The main outcome of the project is the reference framework for the guidelines development of initial and continuous professional development of training for teachers at universities and colleges in Europe and an overview of development, measures and needs across Europe.
Nettle´s aim is to prepare a document based on the structure of the academic framework in each partner country. One of the project objectives is the exchange of experience and skills among trainers from individual partner countries. Within the project there were three international seminars attended by the trainers from different countries (venue: Granada, Francoforte, Turin). The needs of immigrants and organizations concerned with this issue were assessed.

The main objective of the project is to improve the situation of migrants and citizens of other national ethnic groups in the Czech Republic. Project description:
The main purpose of the project is to develop four language courses (English, German, Spanish and Italian) for nurses which will be available on a CD. It should be emphasized that the pedagogy material takes into account specific needs of the target group. It will enable the language learning at basic level (A1, A2) by using the method for self-learning and will cover important practical topics associated with a job assignment of nurses.
The project aims to improve the skills of the target group – nurses, develop a package of language courses which will specifically cover their needs, increase their qualification and at the same time opportunity to access the European labour market.

Project objective:
ROSAE project (Road Safety in Adult Education) tends to improve the prevention and current situation on the European roads. WHO and the European Commission consider the frequent injuries and deaths on the roads as one of the biggest problems threatening public health in Europe and the world, they point out that many deaths and injuries caused by accidents can be prevented, especially those caused by drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Education in this area can influence the stereotypes in the perception of personal safety of adults as well as the behavior of their children who tend to imitate the behavior patterns from their surroundings.
One of the project´s aim is to educate adults and lead them to responsibility in roads safety, especially regarding the alcohol, consumption of drugs and other substances, obeying rules (use of safety belts, helmets, speed limits) and safety (visibility, respect for others, etc.). It aims to create awareness about the potential psychological and physical consequences of traffic accidents, possible risks and subsequent disability, show them how to prevent these consequences and how to face them.

SEAD project (Self Experience and Disability) provides a combined education through a training course which intends to increase empathy and provide the experts from the social field with tools based on non-formal education. Our project offers the professionals or potential workers working with disabled people various opportunities to acquire appropriate qualification to be more effective in their work. Thanks to this project the participants can share similar feelings, circumstances and situations which meet disabled children.
The project´s aim is to develop a new educational program that can be integrated into the education curriculum of social workers (first in the partner countries, then in other EU countries), to give workers a new perspective on understanding the disabled by compassion to the special needs of disabled people, own experience and observing other people. Another task or aim is to promote the use of new practical tools, including music and dance therapy, such as playing musical instruments, working with body movement and free dance.

Step-In project – Stimulating and enhancing the professionalism of electricians - seeks to increase qualification of employees in electro sector. This sector is distinctive for its rapid development. Given the fact that computers and telecommunication technologies are getting more involved in this sector´s operations, electricians have to educate themselves to understand these technologies. Among the insufficient number of applicants and lack of technical knowledge there is also a quality problem: the applicants and workers lack experience, communication skills, confidence and accuracy. The main problems are considered to be lack of motivation and poor attitude. Moreover, there is usually no structure or human resources management in small electric companies.
The aim is to define the profile of a European education with professional skills in the electric sector. Among other objectives belongs the development of the easier use of ICT tools to sort general technical skills and behavior of workers and management personnel in relation to the appropriate skills through training. Another one is the improvement of welcome policy in small electric companies and development of information materials for employees and employers.

Project description:
Project TSST (Training Safety and Security in Tourism) focuses on four main needs: 1) the growing importance of the safety criteria on the side of tourists demand, which is not ensured by the small and medium-sized enterprises involved in tourism; 2) necessity to improve programmes of further vocational education and provide up to date knowledge according to changing needs of the profession and employers demand; 3) need to offer a single European product complying with the safety standards in travel industry and reflecting global demand; 4) a requirement for new management´s methods in tourism.

The project target groups are workers and managers in small and medium-sized enterprises engaged in tourism, lecturers in institutions of further vocational education and white-collar workers crucial in tourism on the national and local level.

Project aims at creating national studies about the current situation in tourism with an emphasis on security from the perspective of service providers in small and medium-sized enterprises. It develops a comparative analysis on skills and knowledge of managers and staff,
adapts an educational tool for the tourism sector for the new countries in a project (Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic), adapts and improves products of SECTOUR project with an emphasis on new target groups in new countries and on the use of ICT tools for the security in sector and produces and publishes the project outcomes and promote the developed innovative methods.
