The European Union recognizes the integration of immigrants in Europe to be a significant factor of the development of the European economy. The BIS project was created as a reaction to the problem of the social exclusion of immigrants, and is aimed primarily at those immigrants who utilize the services (educational, training, social, and consultancy) of the partner organizations. The consortium aims to create a life-long learning and innovation process that should lead to the systemization of best practices and to the development of multidimensional competences of those operators (counselors) working with immigrants. We believe that improving the competences of these counselors (operators) and improving their services will make the entire process of integrating immigrants into local society easier.

Unemployment in general and first of all the unemployment of young people and alumni is one of the burning problems in the labour markets in many European countries. As a result of unemployment young people might get excluded from the society which might consequently lead to the socio-pathological phenomena.
This international project was developed in order to fight back the social exclusion and decrease the level of young unemployment itself. Its target groups are represented by the present-day and future alumni from high schools, colleges and universities as well as the career advisers working with the youth. Within the project duration the competence analysis was undertaken in which the alumni expressed what competences they consider as not enough integrated in given educational system. Seminars will be held on the basis of this analysis focusing on the adoption of these competences.

The partners of “PrMaCLT – Promoting Matching Competences in Language Training” provide language education in Spain, Belgium, Latvia, Germany, Czech Republic and Poland. Their clients are not only private but public companies as well and some of them offer language education as a public seat ? veřejný mandate?
In the implementation of the language courses was discovered that in some cases there was a disharmony between the acquired formal level or qualification and the real need of clients.
Aim of the project is to create a transversal comparison among the methodologies of language teaching. These methodologies will be taken from 12 real cases (2 cases from each partner country) and will reflect different levels of education/target group as well as help to identify optimal sources for achieving harmony between the gained competences and planned purpose of education.
